The latest edition of the 2008 champion stories is out with the story on Joe Allegro, Jr, who won the SK Light championship this season.
His run started out on the poor side, after coming in last place in the Spring Sizzler event. And after three more finishes towards the end of the field, Allegro was 86 points behind the points leader only four races into the season.
It wasn't until the fifth race until his luck turned around. After finishing second in the fifth race, he never finished out of the top-10 for the rest of the season. He didn't hold possession of the points lead until the final weekend. And with everyone else in the title hunt having problems, it sealed the deal.
Overall, not bad for someone who hadn't won a race all year.
After my hiatus since May, I've decided on a new lease on life. I've re-emerged from the dark layers of hell with a new location for all things VFT1.
