SK Modified 100 News

The forecast for tomorrow doesn't look too pretty. Granted, they're not going to get the show in. I have a strong feeling about it, and I think I'll be doing other things. Yes, this blogger's feeling pretty pessimistic. Ah, well. There's plenty of things to do this weekend.

Even though there's a strong cloud of doubt over our heads, I still feel obligated to post a few stories about what is (was going to be?) Friday's SK Modified 100.

+ The rookie class in the SKs is a lively bunch this season. In the SK point standings, two of the rookies are in the top-five. You have Matt Gallo in third and Mark Bakaj in fourth. I have a feeling that the Rookie of the Year race will be a close one this season... All season long.

+ If they get the program in tomorrow, it will be Rob Summers's first event in the SKs this season.
