While there's no news to report about this week, why not think about this for a minute...
Waterford Speedbowl fans, drivers, and crew members have been talking about the Mini Stock 15-lap race that will run during Stafford's Fall Final weekend. Some of the posts have been about drivers confirming that they will be racing in the event, but some of the posters are talking about how this is all for hyping up.
Is this a sign that there's going to be a Mini Stock division at Stafford in 2010?
An idea from the thread linked is that Stafford could rotate between the DARE Stocks and Mini Stocks every other week. Or they'd have the DARE Stocks and Mini Stocks there at the same time, but not have them qualify.
(And then what about when the Tour's there on a Friday? Drop a division for ha-has? Or really cut it close with a seven-division show? Oh, how interesting that would be.)
Could six divisions get heats and features in before the curfew? They could, but only if they just start about a half hour or an hour earlier. But let's not talk about it until the race is over.
