I'm in the middle of doing my weekly entry, but I found this piece of information interesting. So I'm bringing it up.
There was nearly a disqualification after the SK Modified race Friday night. News came out today (Tuesday) about Keith Rocco's brake cooling ducts. It was a question as to whether or not they were a problem. Pictures were taken and sent down to NASCAR. The parts were legal. But they were not the only parts in question. Other parts on Rocco's car that raised eyebrows were the crankshaft, rods, and pistons. Woody Pitkat's team felt there was a problem with those, and officials did an extensive check-up which came up empty handed.
Since the win still holds up, Rocco holds first place in the Whelen All-American Series national standings.
