Another Rainout in the Books

Well, I went to the track only to be there for the good part of a half hour. To tell the truth, the only thing I caught my eye on was the SK Light heat. And I missed the only crash to take place during the entire thing. Of course, it would have been easier to hear about the night's cancellation if I could hear out of both ears. It was mainly a "speak and spell" evening in my behalf as I have a perforated ear drum in my left ear and therefore can't hear a whole heck of a lot without headphones.

All right, enough blabber about tonight's wash out. Let's get down to business: Whelen Modified Tour. They're coming back to SMS next Friday night (5/26) for a 150-lap event. Qualifying starts at 5:30pm EST and I hope to see some of the faithful Tour crowd there. Later on--probably Thursday--I plan on putting up the registration list so you can check to see if your favorite driver plans on being there...which at this time of night I can safely say that the majority of you either already know he's going to be there or you can guarantee he will sometime soon.

From the turn one bleachers in general admission, stay safe and DRY...please.
