As I mentioned not too long ago, I decided to not put the following in the weekly article. Half of it was already known, but the other half of it was not known until after I had sent it in late Sunday night. I decided that it was best if I kept what I knew out of the article until it was made official.
There were two penalties from the Late Model race last Friday.
As already mentioned, Scott Cook was disqualified after he was overweight on the left side. (The Stafford site says 9.9 pounds, which is not what was previously said.)
What was revealed on Tuesday was that Michael Bennett was dropped to eighth after a last-lap incident with Tom Fearn. Fearn finished in seventh, and the decision was made to drop Bennett down to the position behind him.

After my hiatus since May, I've decided on a new lease on life. I've re-emerged from the dark layers of hell with a new location for all things VFT1.
