Speedway Expo This Weekend

After an elongated absence from the blog, I would like to take this time to tell you that this weekend is the first annual Speedway Expo at the Eastern States Exposition fairgrounds (home of the Big E) tomorrow through Sunday. Stafford will be having a few cars at their booth this season, including Shelly Perry, Corey Hutchings (who'll be driving the #90 Late Model), Mike Sweeney, Kevin Gambacorta, and the Dave Secore-owned #8 machine.

Help Wanted

The View From Turn One is looking for new content! I'm looking at doing a couple of interviews with drivers and other people around the speedway during the season, and would like someone to help me take care of that. If interested, please send me a sample piece of work and contact information (preferrably an e-mail address) to the following e-mail address: ironchefmandy@sbcglobal.net. You must be able to get into the paddock area during the course of the 2011 season. This interview thing does not have to be done every week, but at least once a month is preferred.
