Friday Night Fights [7/20 Police Blotter]

Okay, here's what you've been waiting for now since I posted my other entry: The police blotter! I know, it doesn't like much, but it's really going to be something because it's the last thing you expect to hear. And with the night that went on Friday, trust me... There might be people reading this that have a different opinion. I don't know if you want to turn this into a huge conflict, but as long as I get this out of the way, I'm not the one who's going to be sticking my nose further into the situation. But here we go:

Lloyd Agor has been suspended for Friday night's event for unsportsmanlike conduct and due to the fact that he hit another car under the caution. (Here is a fan's take on the situation.) But on the other side of the spectrum, there is a familiar face to all of this. You should all know this name, boys and girls. Remember a man by the name of Chris Jones? Yes, he was the one who was escorted across the track during last season's Fall Final after a heated infield discussion. He returned, but he had someone else piloting the black #39. (The driver -- Todd Szegedy -- was just an innocent bystander.) But back to Jones... Just like last season, he had to be escorted across the track by a member of the security team. His slap on the wrist? He is indefinitely suspended from the paddock area and infield.

If you need to see the full detail, don't hesitate to see the rest of the police blotter.

Until the schedule for the July 27 event is posted, have a nice day.
