Two things you need to know. First, here's a schedule out for the July 31 program, but of course, nothing is finalized. The order of features is anyone's guess. No special stuff going on this week.
Something that was finalized, however, was the SK 150 order of finish. I was going to write about this over the weekend, but I decided against it because I wanted to wait for it to be official before I did. Now, you may have read up about the rules in an earlier post -- I had said that Tech was going to automatically disqualify anyone who was too light or too heavy in terms of weight and drop them to last in the finishing order.
Friday night, after the 150, I decided to hang around the track. And that's when I found out that Tom Bolles had been disqualified. He was weighed, and then the next thing you know, his car was never inspected. How come? Too much weight on the left side of the car. Instant last place finish; made official today.
