I'm somewhat ashamed to admit that I left the track a bit early today. My exit took place about an hour ago, and I've been home long enough to finally get confirmation.
According to The Chrome Horn (and confirmed all over the racing blogosphere), Stafford was not going to get their Saturday stuff in today.
So a few things are going to happen. First, there will be pre-noon practice Sunday, just like I predicted in another thread about the Fall Final. Second, there will be no pit party. Only the Whelen Modified Tour will be qualifying (how do you line up Mini Stocks that are from all corners of Connecticut?).
See you Sunday. Hopefully with more shine than rain.
After my hiatus since May, I've decided on a new lease on life. I've re-emerged from the dark layers of hell with a new location for all things VFT1.
