Consequences Laid Down After SK Modified Race

It was a crazier than usual end to Friday night's SK Modified race at Stafford. And I mentioned that I wasn't going to be surprised to see penalties handed out after it. Monday afternoon, it was official -- penalties were in fact handed out.

And it will be a quieter night at SMS when the SKs take to the track.

As the Hartford Courant states, both Ted Christopher and Keith Rocco were suspended one event each. Both drivers were fined. Christopher lost ten points in the process. You should see this up on the track's site at some point in time Tuesday.

This doesn't mean that he can't win the championship, either. Stay tuned later this week as I explain just what can still happen even though Christopher's not racing.
